It's been about seven years since I visited the Shelburne/Burlinton area during the Memorial Day weekend. I'll be staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Shelburne. I know Fiddlehead is there, but are there any other Bar and Grilles close by where they serve good VT beers on tap? And does Fiddlehead have a bar in their brewery? I know they have a tasting room, but what is that like? More like a sports bar atmosphere? Or something else entirely? Thanks in advance!

About 10 miles from Shelburne you have Farmhouse Tap and Grill and Mule Bar. You'll enjoy both of those spots.

Tilt is about 3 miles north on Rte. 7 with a zillion arcade games, a rather amazing taplist, and good food. And it's not jammed every night. Check it out.

Fiddlehead does not have a bar. They are attached to a pizza joint where you can pop growlers but no actual bar. There are a ton of places in Burlington to go, Farmhouse being the most popular due to the epic taplists and bottle program. Other than that there are craft beers to be found almost everywhere but not in the variety that Farmhouse provides. Mule Bar is a little out of the way in Winooski but worth checking out. Both places have links to their taplists that they keep up to date on their Facebook pages.
