Im very much enjoying my recent venture into belgians and the only available lambic around here are the Lindemans offerings. I understand they are sweetened and all that but still curious to try, what would be a good shelf life for these? Ive seen them sitting literally collected dust for 2 years maybe more at the local shop. If light is an issue i could just pull one from the very back of the shelf where it's darker. Looking to pick one up today. But i would also need to hold onto it another few weeks. Preferably Framboise but whichever variant holds up best if it differs. Thanks.

The Lindemans fruit lambics are all pasturized, filtered and back sweetened. If it's 5 years old or 5 weeks old, it'll taste the same. Lindemans Cuvee Rene and Kriek Cuvee Rene are not like that and the flavors will evolve over time.

Some Lambics have 20 years best by dates posted on the bottle. Sure Lindemans is not one of them as they are pasteurized and artificially sweetened, but a few years is not going to make a difference.

Lambics have only dried hops so light is not an issue. What matters is oxidation, which is harder to assess just by the way the bottle was stored, but again, 2 years is probably not going to make much difference in this case.

I echo the sentiments above. Also, I'm willing to bet that you might be able to find some other lambic in your area with a little searching. Maybe some Tilquen (spelling?) or if you are lucky, 3F is still relatively obtainable.
