So I heard today that Shelton Brothers is returning to Florida. What breweries can we expect to see because of this? I'm hoping Struise and 3F and maybe some Cantillon if we're lucky? I'm not too familiar with what they had here before they left the state.

Here's their full portfolio for anyone interested. I'd definitely expect Jolly Pumpkin to reappear and heard more Dieu du Ciel offerings used to be available so I'd be guessing that too. Hopefully Fantome. I was told by multiple people (I've been here for less than a year) that 3F and Cantillon were here in the past, so let's keep our fingers crossed.

    Wait... Shelton Brothers left Florida?

I found plenty of Jolly Pumpkin in October when I was there.

There had been reports for awhile that they wanted to start their own distributing. They dropped Brown down here in South Florida a few months ago. I was then told Cavalier was doing a little bit of distribution for them. Whether this is a sign that they are doing their own distribution I don't know. What I do know is I wish I could get Cantillon more regularly.

This is what I've heard too, supposedly they will be distributing themselves, maybe that means they'll actually send some to accounts other than knightly in orlando.

In the past we got cantilon, dieu de ciel, fantome, and jp here in jax, but I think the only one we ever got more than one shipment of was jp.

We never got any mikkeller, but maybe we will this time. I don't have high hopes though, shelton bros seem to have a great talent for disappointing me.

There is still plenty of Jolly Pumpkin in the shops that bought a bunch prior to Shelton leaving the first time. These shops in the Tampa Bay area are: Leukens, Beer World, and a beer shop in old Hyde Park I can't remember the name of. Still plenty to go around.

As far as Cantillon goes, there was a day that even the drive thru package store in Temple Terrace carried their basic lot and it sat on shelves at many other places up until about 2003 or 2004 I believe. Then the hype train rolled in and it doesn't even sit on the few NE, NW, and SW shelves it gets distro to now. Until Cantillon can figure out how to make lambic faster, or expand, I think it will be some time before we see it. Fantome still sits on shelves in many places, so I believe thats a more realistic expectation.

We have been getting new Mikkeller and Dieu De Ciel since December, so those two have already hit.

TT drive thru beer store FTW brotha! Cheers to that!

I'm definitely hoping this is true about Shelton and we will be seeing some new beers down here.

Yeah, a little birdie's let me know that we'll be seeing Shelton Brothers back in the state, and probably sooner than you think.

I didn't get information about the distributor/method though.

I only hope to see a larger variety offered from De Molen whenever they are fully functioning here again.

Redlight had a Shelton Brothers event last night which included a few bottles of Cantillon. Hopefully that was a peek into whats to come.

It sounds Shelton's portfolio will start hitting Orlando next week. No Cantillon, 3F or Fantome though.

I'll be seriously surprised if Knightly doesn't get a few cases of Cantillon and Fantome.

You probably know more than me, but still... I got Cantillon in Tampa (Gueuze, Kriek, and Rose de Gambrinus), and there was plenty of Fantome I could have had too, but money was tight and I wanted to save them for someone would appreciate them more (not the biggest Saison guy).

Yeah, just this afternoon. It's all gone now though (case of each, limited to regulars), but keep an eye out at any stores you might be a regular at. You just might find some...
