I'm planning building 6' long x 2 ' deep x 6' tall shelving out of 2 x 4s and sub floor for my cellar. I have about 300 bottles. Can anyone guess or suggest if 7/16 subfloor will hold 75ish bottles without reinforcing the 6 x 2 x 6 frame of the shelf?

    Thanks if anyones tried this!

It will. But I would run little "joists" of 2x4, the short way (2') every 20" or so.
    Time, moisture, weight.

This is a good suggestion - overdoing the bracing is much better than under doing it.
