Want to replace the current shelves my beer is sitting on with a more secure structure. Looking for recommendations. Ya know, cost, ease to set up, how much beer fits, etc. Maybe even a link! Thanks for all your input.

I just replaced my shelving last Fall, and went with the following:

    2 of these:

    10 of these:

And 3/4" pressure treated plywood on each shelf. You'll also need some additional cross supports.

All in, it was about $500. The five shelves hold about 1,500 bottles of beer and you can park a small car on any one of them.

    Previously, I used these:

These will hold 400 bottles or so, but you need to buy 3/4" plywood to replace the particle board it comes with. I recommended getting pressure treated, since even the marine grade plywood I purchased got some mildew on it after a few years of co-habitating next to my well tank. Plan on another $100 for the PT.

I also picked up 3 wine racks that are 21 bottles tall and 6 bottles wide. If you mount them properly, you gain two more rows between the sets of shelves, and can store 420 bottles. That's what I have to the left of my other shelves.

Good luck with the new build out. I organized by style when I put everything back, but everyone has their own preference.
