    Howdy all

I have been drinking the Shiner family six pack and all have been pretty poor exept the Hefe and it was not really a Hefe.

I opened the 101 tonight and its the first bottle I have found a date on.

    Can you figure it out?

I am guessing the 17th of some month 2013. Any idea what month? They use a best by and its 120 days out.

    Is this 01, January?

These guys just showed up in Philly and I can't believe the beer is as bad as it is if the beer is fresh. If it is a best by January then I am pissed they sent old beer to a new market.

    Thanx

    07/17/13 is my guess.

if they use a best by date, why is there a time on it? Does the beer go bad at 11:29 on that date?

And it's Shiner. I think their beers are pretty lousy myself... fresh or not.

Yes I can. Why anyone would buy that shiner for the price listed is beyond me. It tastes bad all the time. looks like it's for 6 more days..

Try some of their seasonal specials -- they're pretty good to style. And yeah, surprised me too.
