What's the best way to ship a box to a great trader without hem knowing it was you? I tried to do this the other day and the FedEx dude insisted I put a return name and address in case anything happens to the package. I know I could use a fake name & address but in the event anything happens then I would want the contents back.

Can't hey just leave the return blank and store that dada in the barcode?!

Use a friends name and address. Just let them know what you're doing first.

....so when a box full of beer randomly shows up at their door one day, they know what's going on:wink:

Lets say I want to ship beer to an awesome person, lets call them Paul, but I don't want Paul to know its coming from me. I'll go to my friend Mike and say "hey mike, there is this guy named Paul who kicks ass, I wanna rock his beer universe, but I don't want him to know its me doing it. Can I use your name and address for the return address?" Mike says yes (and a beer for playing along), Paul's porch gets crushed, and I stay anonymous.

I know...I meant that your friend "Mike" would probably end up getting a box back from me in return...nobody sends me a surprise box and gets away with it:grinning:

I see your point . . . Do they let you use the same address for shipping and return address?

    1) Put your target's information in both the To and From addresses. I've sent myself boxes that way many times and Fedex has never had an issue with it.

    2) No matter what name you put in the From address, why are you talking to anyone anyway? You should be printing it at home, walking in, dropping it off, and leaving. =) I do everything i can to avoid interacting with people at my fedex office.

Out of curiosity, why do you not want them to know it was you? It will be a surprise either way, whether your name is on it or not
