Hi guys, I want to ship a bottle that's sold in a box (Deth's Tar). It will be in a shipping box with a few other bombers. Is it best to remove the bottle from the box and wrap it in bubble wrap? Or should I just leave it in the original box and wrap that up? Would appreciate your thoughts.

Hopefully this helps. I'm assuming you are sending the Deth's Tar box, as its cool and your trade partner might like it. (Similar to one of my most recent trades of shipping out a case of beer and including all the four pack holders). Without seeing how "durable" the DT box is, my recommendations would be

    (1) remove the bottle from the DT box and wrap it by itself (ultimately in any trade is to get the beer safely to your trade partner; the box it came in is just a bonus in my book). If you go this route, I'm assuming the box is "fragile" and can be broken down and still shipped in the main box.

    (2) if the box the DT came in is solid, then wrap the box with padding, bubble wrap, zip lock bag, etc. along with the other beers.

    Cheers,
    Dave
