What ever happened to that bill that would allow us to ship beer through the USPS legally?

    i thought i passed.

If it did, remember theyre probably going to charge you taxes in the incoming state. seems like something the government would do.

There was no such bill, if "us" means the general public. The bill would only allow licensed retailers to ship beer to states where legal- and that passed in the senate.

The USPS is more interested in shipping wine than beer. They intend to ship it nationwide at a flat rate that will be much lower thanUPS or FedEx. They could do the same for beer.

You can ship beer now but it has to be in a sealed container in case of leakages.

Like jesskidden says, licenses are required, the same as for UPS & FedEx. Say you're shipping beer at the PO and you'll get the same answer...no.can.do.
