Trying to get my hands on Brewdog. I have a friend in the UK who is willing to ship some over but neither of us are sure about the likelihood of me actually getting it.
Is every shipment coming into the US or Canada inspected? Thats my worry.

Any suggestions or links to threads that can help me out?
Or, does anyone know how I can get some Brewdog (TNP, or STB)?

I've done a couple of trades to the US from here and both times they've sailed through customs and arrived in under a week. I followed the advice everyone goes by (call it collectable glassware, declare a low value) and had no issues. I've never shipped to Canada but I've read that it's much tougher to sneak beer past your customs. You probably know more about that than me.

I went through the Post Office but the downside is it works out pretty expensive. You can get a cheaper deal using a company like Parcel Flight (a middleman for FedEx) but apparently FedEx are really stringent and might x-ray the box before it leaves and reject it (this is what I've heard). If you want to save money it might be worth the risk.

I can't tell you if those ridiculous ABV BrewDog beers you want will really be worth it in the end. I haven't heard many positive reports. That said I thought Tokyo* was great and the experimental beers they put out under the Abstrakt name are usually good.

    Good luck!
