I'm a Canadian who will be in the Santa Rosa area for vacation in a few weeks. Was wondering what my best options are for shipping bottles back to northern Washington state to pickup on the way home (flying via Seattle, so can pick them up on way back if I the shipping works out - 8 day trip so would hopefully be able to buy/pack/ship early in the trip).

Within the USA, what are the best options?

Go to Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, pick up beer from their great selection. Buy a styrofoam wine bottle shipper, and a newspaper(for packing in the beers tight). Then ship from Fed Ex to your desired location.

Checking on the plane is usually the easiest/cheapest, depending on what luggage you're already carrying around. I've checked styro-shippers on domestic and international flights with no troubles.
