So how do you guys pack cans for shipping? Bubble wrap each can? Bubble wrap around the 4 pack?

Just curious...I've done it both ways.

Shogo's method which he explains in te Nice Cans BIF works great. Three cans in a plastic bag, taped around to form a brick, then stack with bubble wrap between layers. Can really pack em in.

    No bubble wrap for me.

I put the four cans in a cardboard four-pack holder so they don't bang against one another, then tape a stiff piece of cardboard over the top to protect the tabs (I had one tab get popped years ago). All done. Works for me.

the method I have used for four packs has been get a bubble bag, tape that around it, then put it in a 6 cube box, garbage bag that box inside an 8 cube box with paper bags on something filling the void. perhaps over kill, but it gets there nice and safe.

Whenever I receive a box with cans sent still in four pack form they are all dented up from banging against one another. I think wrapping each can individually works best and packing them in to avoid any shifting or movement inside the box.

I haven't heard this about my boxes, usually I only send the cans if I am just sending a 4 pack.

If I've got the bubble wrap on hand, I'll wrap individual and brick them. Bottles I try to use the holder they came in. I've also left the 4 pack cams in the plastic but taped the cans together.

I've wrapped individually or wrapped the entire four pack. Never had any issues either way.

I've always wrapped each can individually. Got to do something with the bulk bubble wrap I purchased a couple years ago. Heck, I still have 1.5 rolls out of 3 left!

But I always get compliments about my packing. Then again, I always go the extra mile.

Just make sure the cans can't bang together with a couple slices of cardboard or some stray scraps of bubble wrap then wrap the 4 or 6 can brick with some bubble wrap.
