Any tips for shipping growlers? I mailed on last week and when it reached its destination it was flat...
Make sure the cap is on tight if its not a flip top and use electrical tape on the cap to try to prevent any cap movement. If possible ship upright. And it being flat could have been from a bad fill/pour.
I shipped a 32 oz growler and it was broken in shipment. Due to cold weather I think and th thin glass . I reshiped a 64 because the glass is so much thicker. Tape, paper, bag it lots of packing ship it upright, don't ship on 5 degree weather .
I didn't ship upright so that could have been part of the issue... Guess we'll see what happens on the second go around.
