I might be shipping a growler soon and am not sure how I should do it, I know it's impossible to keep cold in transit. Would I package it just like I would bottles or something different? Any input from the growler shippers out there would help!
Some electrical tape around the cap (after ensuring it's on good and tight) and then pack it up just like a regular bottle, that's the best you can do. I have sent/received MANY growlers with no issues thus far.

If it's a swingtop growler, I've also started using small zipties to 'handcuff' the top closed, and then doing electric tape on top of that. Just one more precaution to ensure no leakage. Easy to do, easy to remove.
