    from the fedex website:

    Rates change update
Effective Jan. 5, 2015, FedEx Express, FedEx Ground and FedEx Home Delivery, and FedEx Freight rates will increase an average of 4.9%. FedEx SmartPost rates and FedEx Retail Rates will also change. For details, go to fedex.com/2015rates.

how does this affect the trading community? are all of you still going to be trading? on my part this will have no effect, but I wanted some other views on this subject.

Average cost of shipping the average package is about 20-25$. A 5% increase will increase the cost by $1-1.50! Not seeing this as a significant impact on the trading community.

I have been using UPS and USPS since Fed Ex trashed one of mine (they did pay me though), but that being said, UPS has been more expensive. So you Fed Ex people are probably just going to live with it, but will probably still be less from my experience.

It would figure that fuel costs are decreasing and yet they want more.

I'll still be trading away. Its no different than raising the cost of chewing tobacco, hunting & fishing licenses, or ticket prices to go see your favorite band(s). You pay to have fun and only live once.

I think I average around $12 a box so long as im not shipping out to Cali. This shouldn't effect people too much. If anything else people will find ways to cut more corners.

these are all the answers I was expecting. just seems stupid, costs go up - fuel goes down, beeris still technically illegal to ship
