Ups is telling me they cant ship alcohol. What do you all do when shipping? Specify its glassware? Any ideas ?

Setup an account online with UPS or Fedex. Print your labels at home and just drop the box off. In the 100+ boxes I've shipped since I started trading I've been asked what was in the box exactly once.

Set your shipping account up to say " Ryman's Wicked Sauces", they will never ask what is in the box.

I make some real nice flavored olive oils. Some even taste like beer

#1 Don't tell them you're shipping beer. #2 As stated above sign up and get your own account so you can print your labels at home and drop off ready to go if you're planning on doing any quantity of shipping.

I used to worry about the questioning and even went as far a creating some pretty elaborate "specialty sauces and oils" labels in Photoshop I used to append to boxes to backup my story if asked. I think in all my shipments I was asked once what was inside and it was actually a box I had a sauce label on and I felt it drew unnecessary attention and never added them again from that day on.

Other thoughts: Double box everything (home depot heavy duty boxes are fantastic) with an a#$ load of bubble wrap and packing and try to ensure bottles and growlers are standing upright to prevent sloshing.

    Good luck moving forward!

Best advice, which was mentioned above.

Set up an online account. I personally use FedEx.

Never tell them if they ask that its beers. (Marinades, olive oils, collectibles, salsa, etc)

Pack your beer well enough to "hide" the noise

    Cheers!

Honestly, when i ship through fedex i've been asked a few times what i'm shipping and i've told them its beer. I've not had a single problem with it ever.

Now, I tried shipping through UPS a few times and told them it was beer and they told me they could only ship 2 bottles per box. But i've never been told by either place they couldn't ship it.

Fedex pickup is worth every penny. Leave it on your porch (if you can safely) and then it's off. No questions.

The first time I got asked what I was shipping, I froze and replied "goods.... for a friend". They asked if it was dangerous, I said no and then they shipped it. If "goods" is an acceptable answer, I wouldn't worry a whole lot.

That made me laugh out loud. "Is it dangerous?"
