I just had a buddy of mine pick me up a case of brews from Charelston, SC. I live here in folrida and need some help. First off- its 12 (22oz) bombers to be shipped down to me. Shoudl they all be packed at once and sent down to me or should I split up the lot? Also if they were to send all 12 at once, what is a rough estimate on sending something like that? Im thinking for all 12 bottles it would likely run between 60-80 bucks to ship. Is that close? Any help would be a huge help!

If you can get a 12-bottle bottle shipper (wine shipping box, styrofoam 12 bottle shipping box, etc.), you can ship em all at once. If you dont have a shipper, and arent comfortable with a box that big, break it up into 2 6-bottle shipments. Bubble wrap the heck out of them, and I recommend you box them, then put that box inside a bigger box.

Your cost estimates are way high. I just sent a 12-bottle shipper halfway across the country for around $30-35

Sweet! Im freaking out on how to get them here. I was going to do all twelve in a box, each wrapped in bubble and filled with s. chips then drop into a secondary box filled with s. chips. Im glad im way off on shipping costs cuz that had me worried. I'll do that then and hopefully they all comethru A ok! Thanks again for that input Kmello

I had the same fears in shipping 12+ bombers from DC to Chicago, but I used a large box and tons of bubble wrap. There were also 3 pieces of glassware in the box, but nothing was damaged. And the best part? It only cost me $19!

I asked about splitting the order into two boxes, but the general consensus was that it's better/cheaper to ship in one (if possible).
