Hi All, I visited Copenhagen last October and met some really great people who were exceedingly generous and accommodating. I'd like to send a surprise box of US beers to them but need details regarding the logistics of getting a box into Denmark. I don't want to contact the recipients regarding shipping because it will spoil the surprise. Any of you Danes able to lend some information regarding this? Or perhaps some people outside of Denmark who have experience shipping to Denmark? Any and all information is greatly appreciated! Cheers! Ryan
Hi Ryan. I live in Sweden, 20 minutes from Denmark, os it is the same thing for us and the danes. Do you have an address or at least a full name of these guys? It is not at all hard. You pack a box, you send it with USPS (or if you have a shipping account elsewere, but USPS tend to be cheaper) You fill in the custom clearance with a low value and as a gift and as collectable glass and you are good to go. 10 days later some lucky guy in Denmark has a nice box of beer.
