If you're worried about the distance, I'd argue there really isn't a difference between shipping to MA or New Mexico. Pack up the product extra careful and trust your trading partner.
And if you're worried about our extra sucky Puritan laws regarding booze, don't worry - just ship your olive oil via FedEx. If you're worried about our extra sucky weather, well....ship to San Diego.
