I dont expect many to care but it would be nice to get at least a couple of reviews from people who have been since it just opened. On their website it doesnt say what beers they have on tap. All I see are wine and spirits.

Great move by them if they can provide TVs and good pub food. Sometimes that's asking a lot...

Haven't been to Twin River in awhile but will definitely check it out next time I'm there. I can testify that the still fairly new Thomas Hooker brewpub in the race book area at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut does great business and gives many people who normally might never try Hooker's brews to sample some good craft. So Shipyard, Twin River and their patrons should all benefit from this new partnership.

What's the RI connect with Shipyard. There's a bar at TF Green in baggage claim.

Great idea by the way. I flew into O'Hare this summer and met a friend, but his flight arrived 2hrs after mine. Had to leave terminal and go to Hilton. Green Line Pale Ale got old quick.

A horrible place connects with a horrible brewery. Match made in heaven.

The only way I'd go is if they have Bourbon Barrel Aged Monkey Fist on tap but its retired so looks like I wont be going.

Its ok to hate casinos. Twin River isn't as "high end" as Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods but ALL casinos attract lower class people so maybe he doesn't want to be around that crowd which is understandable. As for Shipyard, he IS a Long Trail fan and to me I wouldn't say Long Trail is miles better than Shipyard, I'd only give LT a slight edge IMO. I'd also say Shipyard > Harpoon.

Long Trail is way better than Shipyard. I put Magic Hat & Shipyard in the same class, the Ringwood Class.

Quite the opposite my man. I love countless things, love them with passion. Twin River and Shipyard are simply not on the list.

I don't hate casinos. I think casinos are just fine. I just don't think Twin River is very fun and the entire place is like one big cigarette fish bowl. Additionally, casinos attract people for all sorts of socio-economic groups, not just those that are, as you offensively described "low-class." Furthermore, please don't think that I have an aversion to any group of people, especially those that may be in a lower socio-economic class than you. If you knew anything about my career as a social worker you would never suggest anything of the sort.

Again, it's simple. I don't like Twin River and I don't like Shipyard. No need to read into it. If you and @LiquidCourage want to assume these comments mean that "hate" everything or that I don't like "low class people" then I suggest that you've got a little too much time on your hands.

If they exclusively sold session lagers and donated all proceeds to Crossroads you would love them?

Of course I would. And if velveeta spreadable cheese tasted like a fine aged gorgonzola, I'd like that too.

Hmmm sorry about that. I think the 2nd floor of Twin River is smoke free. Anyhow, not a big fan but will go there to check out the Shipyard pub.

I would respectfully disagree with this. Maybe Shipyard XYZ > Harpoon IPA or UFO, but when you look at the 100 Barrel beers, chocolate stout, imperial stouts/porters (I've grown tired of the Leviathan IPA), I think Harpoon is miles away from Shipyard. Like @youbrewidrink alludes to, they and Magic Hat are probably in a battle for 2nd to last place...
