Shipyard Brewing Gladiator Essedarius Bourbon Imperial Roman-Style Ale I can't seem to find much of anything in terms of reviews or discussions anywhere for this beer. A friend picked up a bottle on the road today. No luck so far! Has anyone tried it? All I can find online are label descriptions and trademark filings. Curious as to any additional info or feedback other than what is available on the label. Thanks.

Didn't James T. Kirk drink this...oh wait... Quick search says it is an ancient recipe brewed with spelt. Spelt being an ancient grain. Don't like Wikipedia much, but actually has spelt down pretty good http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spelt.
