Any of you store buyer / manager / inside-info-typea fellas know if and / or when this will show up in our fair city?

I saw more bombers of it in Maine last week than I could imagine (yes, Im aware its a year-round beer there and a seasonal here) but didnt want to fly any home.

Thanks in advance for any help!

How is this brew? I absolutely hated the other pumpkin beer from Shipyard.

It just arrived. Should be to retail soon - make sure you ask for it.

I split a bomber between a few people and we all thought it was a really solid pumpkin brew. It didn't have that over powering of spice many other offerings have. However it is a tad bit expensive for a pumpkin beer.

I think Pumpkinhead is awful, always have.
Smashed Pumpkin is my favorite BIG Pumpkin Beer with Pumking nipping at its heals. It smells fantastic and tastes sweeter and smoother than Pumking, though again I like them both for different reasons.

It isn't cheap here (usually $9.99, compared to $5.99 in Maine) but I'll take what I can get!

Not sure about in Chicago, but I have seen it at Binny's DG already.

I was at a tasting with KzooBeerBrian and we had his. It was damn good for a pumpkin beer. Lots of spices, but nothing too overpowering. It's nice and sweet, although you don't get the cloying taste from Pumking.
