Shock Top Chocolate Wheat

I tired it on tap at a bar when it was first released, and had only a handful of BA reviews/ratings. Curious to try something labeled as a chocolate wheat beer as opposed to a chocolate stout or the likes. Didn't think it was that bad at the first sip, but had a tough time finishing the second half of the pint. Way too much of a fake chocolate taste

It's actually pretty decent. I prefer to mix it with the Raspberry Wheat instead of the Belgian White though.

 

I'll try any beer once, and I did try this, I liked it both alone and mixed.

 

I just HAD to stop at the Safeway in the crappy part of town, and saw a guy picking up a 6er of this. I tried to talk him out of it-- I told him there were so many better brews... he still took the 6er and looked at me like I had two heads. Personally I've had the Shock Top Chocolate and definitely poured it out after the first three sips.

 

I hope you run into someone who does the exact same thing to you next time you go into a car dealership, even if it's a car dealership not in the "crappy part of town."

 

I had it on tap twice. The first time I drank it and liked it. I did have a few drinks before. The second time, it tasted weird to me, like no choclate flavor. Maybe if a case in on sale, I buy it.

Overall its good when you have people over who might not like craft beer, but can't bring yourself to buy coors light.

 

It wasn't bad but I won't be buying it again. Like a previous poster said, I ll try anything once if it's beer

 

I was not a fan of this beer. I think it's too sweet and not wheat-ey enough. The BMC origin doesn't bother me at all. I just didn't enjoy the taste.

 

Tried it a few weeks ago....It's not bad.
