Shops in Barcelona

    I might be making a trip to Barcelona in a couple of months. I'll have some time on my hands while my wife is at a conference and I was hoping to find some shops that would have some great beers.

    As far as stores go, I'd recommend La Maison Belge (http://lamaisonbelge.com/index.html) if you are looking for some good Belgian beers. If you look around in the shop you might even spot a Westy for sale. Although it is not a shop, I also recommend Cerveceria Freiburg (http://cerveceria-freiburg.com/eng/index.html). They have an amazing selection of beer from across the world and food that is just as good. You can also buy bottles to go and often can talk them into throwing some glassware in for free.

    Looks like I'll be making it out in September. Looks like you're located near the old section of Barcelona? Looking at staying in that area a couple of the nights.

    Funny enough, This post was put up just before i was going to ask this same question. I will be travelling to Barcelona next week. I actually for Ale & Hope on facebook but its good to see the post on BA. I will definitely be stopping in between july 28th-aug1. Probably multiple times as well! Very excited to see this post!

    I absolutely will Denver. I'm definitely going to be doing the 'ole beer exploration so ill let you know if there are some places i dind that weren't mentioned on BA
