Shops with Cantillon in Leiden?

Let me check that for you.... There is a shop in Delft which could have it...will come back on this.

 

Www.drankenhandelleiden.nl has a small collection Cantillon.... If there is more in Leiden i will let you know,

 

http://www.bierwinkel-leiden.nl/ is the next possibility.....they should have Cantillon as well, no spectacular Cantillon but still some bottles...

You mother will find Cantillon at these adresses.....and some more better geuze and sours from other brewers....

 

I'll second the Bierwinkel. They had 5 or 6 different Cantillons when we were there this summer, & an outstanding mix of great European beers. It took me a half-hour to figure how to whittle down the list to fit in my suitcase.

 

This seemed to be the best thread to revive for my question: going to Belgium in a short while, and wondering about scoring some Cantillon while over there. Will be in West Flanders to hit up Westvleteren, and spending a short while in Antwerp -- I don't imagine bottles sit around like Bud Light, but would it be easy-ish to score a few in Poperinge and/or Antwerp? I hope so -- already dragging my partner to Westy, she might not want to spend the rest of our time on a whale hunt...

 

what are you looking for? and when will you be in Poperinge? maybe I can get some cantillon if you're interested in a trade.

 

That's a real kind offer belvedere86. It's probably not the best option, unfortunately, as I'll be stopping in Poperinge in the middle of a long trip around Europe; carting beer from America to all my stops would be too much of a weight! And even if I did it probably wouldn't be in too good of shape by the time you got it...

You'll find it. Check in the Benelux forum and the places section (admittedly not the easiest way to search) for shops. If my memory coughs up some specific ideas, I'll post back here or look for you question in Benelux.
