    mine were relatively simple:

    Under the Boardwalk Brewing Co.
    Shore Thing Brewing
    Boardwalk Brewery

I think those were the only ones.

Says they had over 1000 entries and all did not meet the legal need. Even the owners name could not be used. On that note I read De Lazy Lizard brew pub in the old Melvins Steakhouse is changing it's name too for something like "brand recognition"....whatever....

Have you tried anything from them (lazy lizard)? I had a sample of their IPA and pale..I wasn't too impressed.

They were ok-I found them a notch above Shorebilly. That being said I am starting to think these new places at the beach are not going to rise to a lot. De Lazy Lizard has ben closed the last few times I have driven by. Fin City at Hoopers is bottling but my 2 local stores tell me the product is not moving. I was so impressed with EVO right out out of the gate after having only DFH for 15 years it is hard to compare at times. The again I have had locals say they cant do anything EVO, they love Tall Tales.....check my review and to each his own. I now have 10 breweries within 30 miles...it cant last, but thats a whole other thread.

@lackenhauser, I follow Tall Tales on FB. I have no idea what beers they make, but I sure know about the weekly food specials. 'nuff said...
R.I.P. that brewpub at the end of town circa early 90's??? threw my shirt out years ago

EVO rips, glad they are in PA now

...and by not rising I mean they will brew their few core beers for their customers or other locales and be done with it. I was in Burley Oak today for the first time in a while and it was just jumping. A nice change from what I am used to but then again I am there on a Wednesday at noon you know?....They get it and are there for the long haul. Its kind of like Oscar Meyer bologna and a real German deli sort of kind of...I get the impression Shorebilly dudes want to be players and will keep on keepin on-they have had some great ideas and very unigue beers so far-lets hope the proof is in the glass for them.

A bit off topic, but I would like to support Burley Oak more, but I don't make it to Berlin very often and its just easier for me to go to Evo. The last time I was at Burley Oak they had just opened, but I do like their business objectives especially keeping things local. The retail prices for them seem kind of high, but that might just be my perspective. Cheers was selling their barleywine for $30.

And thats just plain insane. Their bottle release are usually around $12 to $15. There is another happening of 3 bottles on February 8. Some folks on here have quipped about even 15 being too high but for the small amount they produce it is like anything else if you can justify it then do so. $30 is criminal-notice that is still on the shelf at Cheers.

Yikes. I think it was $15 at the Brewery when they released it. It was / is tasty though, but I wouldn't have paid $30 at cheers for it.

I thought Shore Billy and Lazy Lizard were both just ok. Nothing exciting about them. I thought the Lazy Lizard was a bit of a dump inside.

It just seemed dingy and not really clean...where as Shore Billy it was at least nice to sit out on the board walk, even though the place it self is so tiny, but both didn't wow me and were just seem like those places where I would have a beer or try something if I were down there, but wouldn't make a special trip to go to them, unlike Burley Oak, where I try to go to every time I am in the area!

Tall Tales beers I thought were ok, but REALLY liked the food, especially the dessert pizza!!!
