Found some of this wonderful beer today! I had never had it before and I must say that I was really impressed.
Considering it was bottled in 2011 being a barleywine it aged wonderfully. Ive never had it fresh but the way it tasted is amazing. Love shorts! will be there for fathers day! cant wait.

I'd prefer it aged. I'm not a barley wine fan though

Oh man! Absolutely love the Wizard. Even more amazing after some barrel treatment. Can't say enough.

I love The Wizard and Bourbon Wizard! I have 1 bottle of The Wizard left. Maybe I'll pop it soon.

I opened a bottle 3 months ago and it was pretty oxidized. Maybe it was just that bottle. This gives me hope for my other bottles.

I've found that a year or two in the cellar really helps round this one out. I wish I had more...

I remember having the bourbon barrel version at a Fall beerfest in Detroit and loving it. When I had it in bottles, it had way too much raisin for my taste. Maybe I'll pick up another bottle if I see it again and let it mellow out for a couple years.

Very cool, Vine and Brew is a great place to support in the Lansing area.
