Shortcuts for abbreviations?

    I think the main reasons people use abbreviations/acronyms is laziness. Any way with the new forum to do auto replacements/shortcuts/filters for abbreviations.

    Like I type BCBS, but when I hit post, Bourbon County Brand Stout is automatically posted? I know it's enabled on certain forum sites for language, just not sure if the capability is built into Xenforo.

    I'd rather see a sticky/help entry than autotext code. Or just let people ask if they're uncertain--we should be able to be kind enough to help another BA learn the lingo.

    Just asking because they were banned from all forums except ISO:FT with the "old forms" and it's been implemented on other forums I go to. Trying to remember specifics. Like if you're on a gaming forum and type CS, it would auto correct for Counter Strike. Lots of people use the Acronyms, and it could put an end to the threads that seem to pop up all the time.
