    Oh holy hot damn, this year is going to be amazing for Short's! January alone is going to kill my wallet, as Publican Porter will definitely be a fully case buy. And does anyone know anything about Emperess Catherine? This appears to be a new Imperial Stout, and sounds tasty as can be.

    Joe considers it to be one of the finest beers he's ever brewed.

    Empress Catherine: A dark opaque stout with sweet aromas of molasses and black currants. Rich flavors of dark chocolate and heavy roast provide a malty balance to the pronounced bitterness in the finish, commonly found in big Imperial Stouts. 8% ABV, 55 IBU.

    It's very good. I had it on draft at Short's Brew:Ski Bash last year. I can't wait to pick up 12 or so of these.

    I had Empress Catherine on draft at a bar in Kalamazoo last winter. They have 40 taps but I didn't drink anything else that night. Very tasty; excited to see it in bottles this year!
