    Just picked up a sixer of Shorts Anniversary Ale (Wheat Wine brewed with Blood Oranges)

    I see this variant has been made now for the past few years (2010 I think being the first)

    Anyone here cellar one of these away since then and had a recent tasting?

    let me know!

    I've cellared them all and hold up very nice. Just had a 2010 and it was awesome.

    Kzoo Beer...I was going to start a new thread then I noticed yours. THANKS for asking the question - as I too
    am interested in reading the experiences/results and opinions of those that have aged this wheat wine.

    The tangy fruitiness fades away and it is a solid wheat wine after that. The pepper fades pretty quickly (like 4-5mths) as well.

    Steebo777, Thanks for your good analysis…I will drink some fresh and cellar a few for aging.

    Cheers!
