Yep, had a great time. Weather was perfect, and the beers were on point. Sweep the Leg was the surprise of the night. Really need bottles of that. Tip ta tip, apricot berliner and the Erraticus 2/4 were all also outstanding. It was also great to see a few faces I haven't seen in awhile. Short's put on a great event yet again, and kudos to Joe and his entire staff for their efforts. Speaking of, who knew he could sing?

I'll keep it simple: Amazing as always!
My standout, too, was Sweep the leg. Daaaaaaaaaaaaamn was that one great!
The Erraticus's were great as well. Was happy to snag all 4 of them were still around at Short's Mart on Friday.
Getting props for being a good poster on here was nice bonus too

Like other said, the weather was perfect. The taplist was varied and as big as it needed to be. Anything more and you run into the chance heading to blackout-ville fast lol!

One thing we noticed (especially on Friday night at the pub) is that between the new addition being open and the ticket-limit being set at 3000 (I believe thats what the count was?) everything was perfectly sized.
In years past, the Friday pre-party could get a liiiiiiiiittle tight in the pub, and waiting for a table to get eats took almost and hour and a half.
This year, we ended up sitting over in the new area at the bar while we waited for our table (New bar wasn't open yet but were able to chat with one of the employees and he clued us in about the 3 different firkins that were going to be on on Saturday at that bar (Chipotle Chocolate Wheat was the jam!)
Anyways, there seemed to be the same amount of people as last year, but now with a who bunch more space for them to occupy. Table wait took about 25mins this time too. Going forward to the actual party, the line moved CRAZY fast. We were even with the court house when we started and we were inside with cups in hand by 4:15.

There were a couple of times were some of the lines snaked kinda long, but once in them, you got to the front fairly fast.
The "2 half-pours for the price of 1 full-pour" option being back this year was great, and the people doing the pouring took care of us without a hitch each time we asked for it.

Seriously, not one single complaint. Whatever number of tickets were sold, KEEP IT THIS NUMBER!
My wife made the comment that that "It's crowded enough here to make it fun and awesome, but there's also few enough people here that it's still fun and awesome"

Sad I missed out on the group pic (it ended up being one of the times we were eating :slight_frown: )

    **side note**
If there's any of extra of those karate headbands left, my wife wanted one desperately! haha

Nice to finally meet you Sean. Thanks again for sharing the Batch 5000 and you and Short's for another amazing event! Every year I keep saying I don't know how Short's will top this one but I'd have to say this was my favorite to date. Awesome beer list with a great mix of styles I love (sours, BA beers, dank IPAs), great food, people, music and weather. The lines seemed to move better this year too which was nice. Already looking forward to next year!
