The pints are indeed in distribution. I will add Huma pints to the wish list.

Huma pints may get you in trouble. I dont know if we are ready to handle all that hoppy goodness in 16oz form yet....

Picked up a six pack of Fruitasia yesterday. Didnt like the one I had yesterday but I never like to judge a beer until I've had it twice, currently drinking my second one and this is not my bag. I really hope Melt My Brain comes back as the summer seasonal next year. I'm all about trying new things but Fruitasia doesn't hold a candle to Melt My Brain.

Melt My Brain is so drinkable, it is unbelievable.

I saw that Melt my Brain will be out this summer in addition to Fruitasia. I really enjoyed Fruitasia, wish it were more like Slurm Lord in terms of the malt level. But at 4.5% ABV, the trade off is worth while. It was nice having a couple on the deck after mowing last night.

How do they continue to put out this many new offerings seemingly every week?

Shorts was overdue for a really bad offering. Based on the Untappd scores, they found one in Fruitasia.

Found fresh 6 packs of Space Rock cans at Meijer today for 7 bucks! Pleasant surprise and will definitely become a staple in the fridge this summer.

Man, I gotta disagree on Fruitasia. It's not going to light the low ABV NEIPA world on fire (I can't be believe I typed that) but I'm not getting any of the off aromas or flavors. Frankly, if they put this one in place of Juicy Brut I'd be happy.

And if I was more frank, I'd roll back the flagships to put either Space Rock or Pandemonium back in the full distro area.

I know Pandy is a "American Pale Ale" but it tastes like a great English IPA, a sorely neglected style.

And Freedom is tasting GREAT this year. Yes, I've had a couple. And a Fruitasia. And I'm on the internet.

I'd be good with Fruitasia and Juicy Brut going away for Pandy and Space Rock!

I am enjoying a Fruitasia next to a campfire. If it isn’t getting good reviews, I will mean more for me. I think it is great, and I can enjoy a few in a row (which I’m in the process of now).

The whole Brut IPA thing never really caught on like it was supposed to and I feel no sense of loss.

Fruitasia is honestly terrible. On a different note, had my last DPS and it was still tasting awesome.

I think people bag on 4% beers that they don’t taste like their favorite 8% beers. There’s a time and place for both. I love Freedom of 78 and love Huma, but I don’t like passing out in front of my children.

I love a great tasting 4% beer like Lil Huma, Furry Buddy, Prolonged Enjoyment. I could go on and on, but Fruitasia tastes like rotten fruit to me. But that's why we all have different palates.

Nah I actually prefer anything less the 6%, Fruitasia is just plain bad. Secondly, why are you passing out in front of your kids?

I mean, it’s fucking 2020. That’s about the safest place to pass out these days.

I miss prolonged enjoyment. That was a fun summer when they put it in 12pks.

A couple of new label approvals to look out for...

Scooter (not Yosemite Scooter). Can wrap. English style Shandy with Lemon /Lime.

Terr Bear. 12 oz bottles. Previously available in bombers for either Short's Fest or an Anni Party, I can't remember which; I really want to say Short's Fest, though. With this one just being approved and the third quarter already announced, maybe we'll see it for sale at SMart?

Lastly, it's my understanding that the fine folks at Short's are working on possible dates to go spruce-tip picking......
