I'm going to be stopping at Shorts later this week and have been wondering what's going on with the taplist. For a while now I've been only seeing 15 beers on tap on their website, I just looked and now see only 13. I've just been used to checking the list and always seeing a constant 20 beers listed. Anyone know why it's been less than 20 for a while now? Obviously this is just what's posted online and it could be different at the pub. But just having the website to go by, it makes me curious.
I have no idea, maybe they used up some of their stock at Shortsfest last weekend? I was at the pub this past Thursday and the website was accurate. Was the only time I've been there that there weren't at least a handful of beers I really wanted to try or have again.
I would call the pub and get the scoop. What I do know, though, is that the pub has never been this busy- ever.
I love Short's but this summer was the first time I've left the pub without a growler. Bottles have been fantastic, pub list not so much.
HopHeadHerman is right. This summer has been the busiest summer we have ever had. We are seeing most batches of beer only lasting a week or less which is causing the problem of everything being drank faster than we can brew it. We did just get 5 more fermenters and they will hopefully be online in the next week or so. Thanks for bearing with us and we hope to be back to always having 20 beers on tap soon. Cheers!
