Short's Pub-Only Bottle Release

It is on my bucket list, Shorts is top 5 in my book!!

 

A buddy of mine was there last week and said no. I'm planning the trip up for Memorial Day.

 

So is it Oober Goober or PB&J? Unless its nuttin' we've seen before from Short's brewed with peanuts. If so count me in...

the next private stache release is in a few weeks. the beer in question sounds interesting though.

 

I assumed it was bourbon black sustenance, since they always used woodford reserve barrels (i think)

 

I think they said it was unnamed still

 

Looks like the next brew is a Fruit Punch DIPA. To be released in 6/13 at the Aloha party.

 

Sounds absolutely amazing

 

Getting real lucky with these releases. I've got a cabin in Kalkaska (30 min from Short's), the last two releases have coincided with pre planned trips up there. Must be in sync with the beer gods. Real excited cuz this one sounds friggen incredible!

 

Also, does the party have a cover charge or something at the pub? Or just open to the public?

Knowing what Shorts can do with their Dipas and Ipas I have high hopes for this one.

Hey all - moving to MI later this month - when is the best time of the year to visit The pub for pub only releases? I see they do some crazy bba brews - not trying to high jack thread just curious - thanks!

 

They always have pub-only releases. So anytime is a good time (summer especially considering Torch Lake is one of the best in the world).
