Short's question

Carrot Cake does not get bottled. The other beers are all specialty limited releases. Strawberry jut hit stores last week. Key Line will be out later this summer. Not sure when the other two are released.

I don't think this is always accurate, but you could start here.

 

I'm sure HopHeadHerman will answer these in detail, but here's some basic info:

• Strawberry Shorts was released last week to stores and is pretty limited. It is by far the best it has been on tap and in bottle this year that I have ever had.
• Carrot Cake doesn't get bottled as it wouldn't survice long in them and flavors would be totally off. I'm not sure when it will hit the pub.
• Key Lime Pie will probably hit in late August/early December and needs to be drank fresh right away. Flippin awesome drinking brew (although a little too sweet for some people).
• Cup a Joe is bottled in late November/early December and was stellar last year on both draft and bottle.
• PB&J doesn't get bottled anymore (as with Uber Goober) since it doesn't keep in bottles at all. It is usually on tap at the pub in November/December though.

People can get you growlers of any of those at the oub, you just have to find someone that will be there when they're on tap. I HIGHLY recommend Strawberry Shorts this year, it is out of this world.

 

Don't forget about Peaches & Cream being released this summer too!

I'm definitely making a special trip up to Short's when PB&J and Uber Goober are available on tap. Two of my favorite "experimental" offerings from them.

 

Lately I believe they have been releasing their special stouts on tap for their Halloween Party. At least they did this a couple years ago. It used to be released the Saturday after thanksgiving party, which I believe was the brew and ski bash but I dont exactly remember.

 

I so want to try this!

Two growlers of Short's Cake would make you sick, lol. It's a very sweet beer. Fucking epic, but sweet.

If you're looking for our stouts, we release most of them at our pub during the Brewski Bash (weekend after T-Giving). PBJ doesn not get bottled anymore, but if Uber Goober is on tap at the pub, we will mix it with Soft Parade and that's essentially the beer.

Key Lime will be out in August, I believe.

Really looking forward to Peaches 'n Creme (August as well)

 

Are those kegs available to the public?

 

Another round of Strawberry Shorts just hit SE Mich. Holiday Mkt and a few other places had a few cases of it as of yesterday.

 

It's a pretty old pricing guide. I'm not sure we even have plans to make some of those beers anymore. We do release many of our beers to the public so as long as you give us proper notice, we can usually fill your needs.

Is any more Prolonged Enjoyment being made? Or was that a one of thing?

 

Prolonged is a specialty beer made once a year. I've seen a few bottles still in stores. Just gotta poke around.
