Should I corner the Founder's KBS market?

It's pretty good. It's nowhere near what it used to be.

I'm waiting for Curmudgeon at the end of the month myself.

To answer the OP, Founders stuff doesn't seem to move very quickly out here, so I'd tend towards grabbing it as wanted.

Or, grabbing the regionally available beers that are similar.

 

14 bucks is a great deal if you want to drink it for a reasonable price. Other than that maybe use it as an extra in trades if you do that kind of thing.

 

Under BA rules I think you can only purchase one 4 pack per week

Since Founder's is new to your distribution area, IMO it would be in the wrong/bad beer advocacy to buy out all of the KBS in the area to horde for yourself. Get a few 4 packs max. and enjoy until next year, when you can restock again as there will be plenty like the rest of the country gets now adays. Let the beer nerds of your area enjoy as well.

Oh, and recommend to your store mgmt. (if they aren't in-the-know about KBS) to limit the buying of KBS so the next person doesn't buy them out either.

 

$14 is far cheaper than I've ever seen it, if you like it buy it, I would. I might buy a case at that price and try and hit them for a discount too.

Well, they've been out here for a couple years now, so it's likely anyone who is interested in KBS is aware of it. If OP is someone who is really into this beer, and given general nonchalance Beers seem to have towards the brewery, I think this is one of the rate cases where it would be OK to take as much as you want/can afford. The store owner might be grateful to have a slow mover disappear.
