I have brewed an oatmeal stout with reduced fat cocoa powder and PB2 in the boil. I am waiting for primary fermentation to complete before deciding to add nibs/more PB2 depending on taste. That being said, should I fine my stout with gelatin before bottling, or will this drop the chocolate and peanut butter flavor...as well as clarify it? I'm assuming it won't really matter because of the style, but I would like to make the best quality beer possible.

No real reason to fine a stout or porter. Either way color will be too dark to see through and you run the risk of it fining some of the PB flavor out of it.

I would only fine it if a warning did not work ...seriously, let it ride
