Should I soak faucet? Or just scrub?

Hi friends, I've used my faucet once (perlick 650 ss). It wasn't particularly dirty. I took it apart and rinsed when I was done with it. It sat on a shelf. I am about to connect it to a new keg. I just scrubbed it in a bucket of PBW. Should I let it soak? Or is that good enough?

Usually I soak for a few minutes then brush, the rinse and dry. Sounds like you are fine with what you did.

I usually just scrub with a bottle brush and hot water. Just check the faucet for internal build up and keep going till you get all the sediment out and all vents cleared. It also helps to hit the threads with a brush to keep it easy removing and putting back the faucet.
