And after a lot of grinding, etching etc., yesterday's creation has now been promoted to the keychain. (and a good reason to crack a 10% beer to 'compare and contrast' to the DDBA I just poured... Cheers!

Thanks Ryan, the 'hot blueing' was not as bad a process as I expected (heating molten salts to 600-900F and hoping it doesn't splatter when you dip (hopefully dry) metal into it), but it gives great colors! Turns out the stuff barely burns you when it lands on you...

Mine is drilled into the fridge with an opener up top and a catch bucket below. Both have the Guinness logos.

My homely bottle opener I lovingly call 'Big Red' keeps my caps in pristine condition with every opening.

I love how heavy this feels in my hand and it doesn't bend the caps. Plus the pointed end cuts wax pretty well:

Deadpool. Got it at a Comic Con. It bends caps like hell though.

Cool opener!! Is there enough room inside the loop to fit a quarter on top of your caps? That should keep them from getting creased.

Thanks @PorterPro125 , tough selling online due to very limited visibility, and a product that most folks would like to see and touch in person...

Made this one myself on the lathe a year or two ago. Mineral stained maple burl and a kit from a wood turning supply company. Does what it needs to do and looks good sitting on the counter all the time.
