New glass!

 

My Michael Jackson 'Beer Hunter' set. RIP to both Michael and the missing 'Session' glass.

That might just be the coolest beer glass I've ever seen. Armageddon proof. I want.

 

These are the ones that I have set out. Have others on another set of shelves, many in the basement, and a few back home.

 

Here is a few of mine....Couple I haven't even had the breweries beers yet but really liked the glasses.

I picked up the New Holland at the brewery/brew pub...Was able to get the Dragons Milk Reserve a week before it made it to Kalamazoo...Which was pretty nice...lol

So last Sunday was my birthday....My daughter wanted to get me something with a dart frog on it...Wife told her what if we can find a glass with a dart frog....I keep and breed dart frogs....This came today
..Have to say its pretty damn awesome...Nice heavy pint glass with an Azureus dart frog

Recent thrift shop find:

 

I swear if it wasn't for the size of the bottle ( 12oz ) that looks like a flower vase.

 

They had these grouped with some other decorative items in the store. I thought what the hell and got them anyway because I'd been looking for a thistle glass. The clerk didn't know what they were, or where they came from. The capacity is indeed 12 ounces, although whether that means anything is debatable. At any rate, they are cool, and Scotch ales taste great out of them.

Wanted to give a shout-out to Half Acre here...

I don't buy much branded glassware unless its part of a gift box or such, but Half Acre had a glass I saw @larryarms847 drinking from in WBAYDN and I had to have because it reminded me of one of my favorite bands, Kvelertak...

Here's the glass I'm talking about...

So, anyway, the glass was $5, and shipping was $7 for 2-Day Priority mail, but it took over two weeks to arrive! When I called after a couple of weeks, they apologized and explained there was some sort of mix-up, as the glass was not actually on-site for shipping.

Here's what I got in the mail today...

A bunch of buttons and stickers and a second complimentary glass!

I thought it was a real class move on their part, and worthy of recognition...

Here's the second glass they sent...

Big North was an event they hosted earlier this month featuring music and beer and stuff...

Apparently it is also a beer they brewed, I guess just for that occasion ?

Anyway, happy to add these to my relatively small collection of glasses (maybe 30 or so?). Needless to say, I'm putting the glass to immediate use, even though I don't have any Half Acre beer on-hand...
