I brewed my first batch this past weekend........well assisted a friend and had a blast. I was intrigued and mesmerized by the setup and am curious to see your setup. I looked all over this section to see if I could find a thread but couldn't. If there is one, please direct me accordingly. If not, I'd love to see pictures of your setup.

    cheers ~~~~ jp

There was a thread like this a while back. Probably worth another go, as setups change.

Here's a picture of my setup on brew day. HLT (right) and mash/lauter tun (left) on upper burners. The plastic bucket above the mash slowly drains into during the fly sparge. During the sparge I periodically fill the bucket from the HLT using a sauce pan. In this picture the sparge is underway. The boil kettle is on the lower burner. The kettle is on a stand that I can roll inside for immersion-cooler cooling in the winter time. I use this setup year round (I've even brewed in near zero F weather), so in the winter cooling is done inside. My brewing log sheet (Excel based) is visible on the computer.

My set up is much less elaborate, really just a pot, and an induction burner:

Did you write the Induction article in BYO or Zymurgy this past year? Pix look familiar?

@redmaw How many gallons is that? (Kettle and boil?) I'm impressed that you're able to get a boil like that off a 1:10 outlet!

No, but I did post them in a who's brewing this weekend thread a while back.

7.5 gallon pot, about 5.5 gallons in the pot. That is a 220 outlet though, not a 110.

I would but I still haven't figured out how to upload pics to this app.

One way is to use Dropbox.

    (1) Get a Dropbox account (it's free).
    (2) Place a picture file (.jpg is good) into the "Public" folder in Dropbox.
    (3) Right click on the file and choose "copy public link"
    (4) Paste this link into the window that opens when you select the picture icon above where you type your posts into this forum.

    Cheers!

What @utahbeerdude says works for the full site, even on mobile, but as far as I know there isn't a way to use the new app to do it, or to quote/reply either. Just another reason I went back to using the webpage on my phone's browser.

Pic was taken in the spring right after the snow cleared. It's much more attractive now that the grass is much greener.

Upload to a photo host website from your phone. Copy the URL. Go to BA using the browser on your phone and post through that instead of the app.

Here's the current 1 BBL setup, including refurbished brew garage and new conical. First batch (Koelsch) almost ready; it's tasting pretty good.

That's what I tell the "Windows Security Department" people with Indian accents that call my house almost daily. Apparently my computer has viruses that they can fix. They assure me that they know this because of my zip code.
