Wow - live and learn. I didn't even know there was a champagne-style cap for the Bigfoot beer in 2011!!

Somebody from Spain posted some of his wants a while back and that was one of them. As far as he knew, it was the only year like it. I asked Sierra Nevada and even they couldn't tell me about it. They just said it must've been from one of their barrel-aged offerings. The cap that l've seen from the last two years of their b-a Bigfoot is the one they use for many of their big bottles: Gold "Sierra Nevada Brewing Company" and hops on black. I miiiiiight even trade out of my collection for the 2011!

As far as I know, the only way to add a photo on this site is through a hosting site. You can't add photos straight from your computer.

Photobucket is the only way to go. Google it, create an account, drag 'n' drop to your library, save that image, insert after clicking on the little icon of the mountains and sun and there you have it! Honestly, l am worthless on a computer, but this is super easy, even for me.

I use Photobucket too and I find it pretty easy to use. Imgur.com is another photo hosting site that gets recommended a lot by BA members, and it is said to be easier to use than Photobucket. I think I recall someone saying that you can resize photos on that site too, which comes in handy if you want to post photos of a beer or a place in the Places section of BA.

Sorry, late to the party....I now know that I have traded with Sirbottlecap, Andycapper, Coronaeus and fossilfuse and several others on this thread. I have slacked off on my foreign cap collecting, and I have also considered trading it off to concentrate on US beer and cider caps. Those are my main focus but I also collect ones with nice artwork/color regardless of its country of origin.

Below are some out of date photos of my collection. I'll try and get an updated shot of the progression of moving from glass vases to magnet mounted caps....

Neat-freakin-o!! I see various teams of caps together, but l can't zoom in...are these in any particular order?

They are grouped by breweries but the placement of them is in no certain order. I've got one huge wall full of what I like to call the "orphans." These are the ones who I've only got one or maybe two of a certain brewery.

"orphans", I love it. I will now use that term as well. I have my collection on boards, in boxes, so now I have "orphan' boards and boxes. Nice collection jermsumm.

I had mine set up similarly, but as the bigger sets (especially Anheuser-Busch) grew, l'd have to move huge amounts of caps just to add one. Now, all my "orphans" (l also love that term) are buffers between larger sets. lt makes it SO much easier to manage them now.

I had always known one-off representative caps as 'singletons' but I like the term 'orphans' also.

I do the same with the bigger sets, on the boards I use, I fill in the spaces with orphans. So when I get new AB, Coors, Miller etc. caps, which happens quite often, then it is easy to remove an orphan cap to place the bigger set caps.

Singletons! Sounds very British. I'll call my UK orphans "singletons" from now on.

Ive been collecting coasters for years.. but other than these that line my "singleton" drop box I haven't done anything with them. [IMG]

Have started collecting growlers to fill with lights and put on top of the liquor cabinet. Makes for nice mood lighting.

and then of course... theres the tiles Im making out of all these cartons...

    But caps are nice too...
