I'll be in town this Wednesday and would love some recommendations for some places to check out. Saw Great Raft is making some good stuff, but they are closed on Wednesday, available locally elsewhere? Does Red River have a tasting room? Food recommendations with great beer selections are always welcome.
Great Rafts regular line up is available at most of the local beer stores. The best selection will be at Brewniverse, Nathan will take great care of you. Cuban liquor also has a decent selection of craft beer and is near Brewniverse. If you're staying Thursday as well Great Raft will be releasing All My Tomorrows, a hoppy saison, that's worth picking up for sure. Rotolos has great pizza and the best beer selection on tap. They may have some bottles of Saint Aronld Bishops Barrel 8 left too. Franks Pizza and Zocolos also have good food and a decent tap list. Red River doesn't have a tap room but some of their beers are on at Rotolos. For some great food check out Marylins, Ralph & Kaccos, Superior Grill, or some of the other locally owned restaurants. No Marylins is very reasonable, it's an old gas station converted into a resturaunt. Hope you enjoy yourself!
