I am intrigued by this one personally but might try on-site first?

 

I had to read that twice to LOL. Maybe should have called it "Restes"?

And to edit, dear God that is a lot of head on that beer.

 

I tried it and picked up a few bottles for friends as well. I really enjoyed it; not as much stout as PN6 and just adds some body to the beer.

Also Grisette Blend #5 released Saturday!

 

No announcement as to what side project is releasing this weekend... that makes me suspicious it could be something good!!! Framboise or O.W.K!

 

I’m coming down for my first visit. Do they typically release on a certain day/time? Looking for spiritual and logistical advice. Thanks!

 

Right when they open generally! Could be silent could be announced morning of

 

usually Saturday. every once in a while, Sunday and with shared cans they sometimes do weekday releases.

however, who says there is going to be anything new this weekend @TboneRN ?

 

No one, just speculating, there has been maybe one weekend in the past 3 months where they didn’t release something new, and with it being Memorial Day weekend I think it is setting up for something... but I could also be very very wrong

 

Since OWK is member only, were you alluding to the potential on-site offering of OWK?

I said nothing like that.

It was more a "OWK doesn't get released since it is member's only, right? So if OWK did get's released, you're just referring to onsite rather than to go?". That's what I was saying.

I have no idea if there will be a release, or speculating, just clarifying. I don't even know if member only bottles go to on-site offerings. So, this was a genuine question and nothing more.

 

That I am not sure on, I know the rumor is members only, but until someone posts an email saying that I think anything could happen, on-site or to go.

 

the only datapoint thus far has been oude fermier b2 which has seen multiple on-site offerings with the only to-go offering being for members

 

Cool - if there is a super secret release on Saturday, is it usually at the cellar or the brewery?

normally a release would be offered at both locations. generally speaking SP does not do many "secret releases" with the exceptions being those sneaky Sunday releases (Jammy, KdF) and that hasn't happened in quite some time.
