Absolutely! I also told her whatever the to go bottle is that we're splitting it so she's pretty pumped about that.

Available now at all four locations!!
    Come and get it!
    No reservations or phone calls.

    Here is the plan!

    • Monday (Sept 10th) - 9am-7pm - all 4 locations - 12 bottle limit
    • Tuesday (Sept 11th) - 9am-7pm - all 4 locations - 12 bottle limit
    • Wednesday (September 12th) it will be online for reservations - 6 bottles per person. No phone call reservations, must be done on our website. Will post the link at that time for shipping and pick ups. Will send another email when it is online. This might be late Tuesday.
Surprise - there will be just some MAGNUMS we will release a little later via the BRC!

This is one of our craziest releases of the year! Very fun and exciting!

Back in June we did the blending session -
    Side Project Merci Batch #4...$29.99 / 750ml

Here was the final blend....if you made it to the blending, hopefully you kept your notes on your own blends.

    • 43.6% of our Foedre Blond (same base as Fuzzy) 5 years of solera method in a french oak foedre
    • 39.8% of #40 - 12 months in french oak puncheons (higher brett phenolics than most Side Project beers)
    • 8.7% of Foedre Terry - 8 months in french oak foedre (high must, funk, slight brine)
    • 7.9% of Oude Fermier - 18 months in french oak
"Went a little more "wild ale" with this blend and tried to express as much Brett as possible" - Cory King, Side Project Brewing on Batch #4

This is the beer that Cory makes specifically for The Wine and Cheese Place. We are honored to be able to get beer from Side Project and offer it to our loyal customers. Thank you.

I grabbed a few as I've always enjoyed the Merci series, plus this is the closest a lot of folks will ever get to Oude Fermier. No line or anything, just seemed like a regular Monday at the store. If this beer was produced in a much smaller batch, waxed, and sold at 1 per person (like batch 1) the trade boards would be lighting up. Will drink one later this week, but I'm guessing it will be lacking that limited flavor we all desire

No need to try and get Oude imo.

The blending session for Merci was a lot of fun, I hope Paul and Cory keep doing that.

There must be a Metric Ton of this stuff given the limits.
Would enjoy reading about this experience if you wanted to do a write up.

i think this statement is accurate

edit: since im killing time at work, 208 boxes x 32.50 average weight of 12 bottles of wine=6760/ 2204.62=

    3 metric tons

Funny thing is - I meant to delete that. I wrote that this morning right after making the initial post. Then I decided no need. Unfortunately, BA likes to keep those things we type then delete if we leave the page before it "saves" :stuck_out_tongue:

You making the calculation is quite amusing and appreciated  Thank you.

I think most / all of those FdFs popping up FT have been b1. Why they all popped up at around the same time, I have no idea.

    No word on FdF b2.
