If true, I hope they do some on site bottles down the road. Safe terminal has developed nicely and I've always thought a barrel would round out the edges some folks didn't like

I Urban Dictionaried this, not having any idea what this means.

Is this the tongue-in-cheek lying use of BiL:stuck_out_tongue:?

I wouldn't worry too much about lines. You'll have some smallish lines form here and there, but there are so many great beers getting tapped at once and the crowd is so small that it's usually spread out. If you miss out on any particular beer, it's probably more likely to miss some things poured from the he bottle rather than beer tapped from kegs.

Agreed, lines are a non-issue - I think if I missed any beers last year it was bottles. There were two major lines at the beginning last year (FVM 2016 & D6), you could easily make it through both lines before either kicked. Nath was the only Cantillon I really remember having a line, and that still lasted way past the line dissipating.

My best general tip is to pace yourself!

Hope the weatherman is correct for Saturday. Currently showing 76* and no rain.

Did they give any kind of pour list when you signed in that day or in advance of the day last year? Or did everyone just have to wander around and figure out what was being poured and where?

They have signs saying exactly what’s pouring where

Based off last year, but was pretty similar in 2016 - No pour list/program, they might have listed tapping times at the Cantillon booth(?) Otherwise it's just walk around and see the signs for what's pouring on each booth. Booths are mostly by brewery, the SP booth was the only one that had any changes to their offerings throughout the session as they went through bottles. Indoor taps were a variety; probably more SP than guest brewery.

Getting closer. I'm absolutely stoked. This is my favorite beer event, although admittedly I haven't been to many of the other big ones...

Weather man still calling for beautiful weather!

Wish we could get a little more info. I’m like a kid at Christmas wanting to open a present early, lol.

There's not going to be that much more info. Maybe a final brewery list but that's it.

Among friends I was the only one able to get a ticket. Luckily, beer makes friends! Maybe I'll meet some of y'all on Saturday. Was such an incredible time last year.

Final brewery list posted. Cycle, Tired Hands, Perennial, Firestone Walker, Goose Island and others added.

A Vanilla Rye keg wouldn’t suck...
