I’ll be picking up my bottle solo. Who will be at the Cellar Friday that would like to split some bottles?!?

I'll be at the Side Project locations all weekend long and will be down to split bottles. Will probably leave to Perennial sometime in the afternoon on Friday to try Maman 2017 on site.

If you are in town all weekend, I'd suggest branching out a bit from Side Project. I know SP is your reason for coming, but we have a lot of awesome breweries to offer. Glad you will at least be going to Perennial, buy some La Boheme if its still available-excellent stuff

I've got Narrow Gauge, Main & Mill, 2nd Shift, White Rooster, and 4 Hands on my list as well. Also some amazing looking BBQ spots. Side Project will be my main focus, though!

Add Heavy Riff to the list if possible, close to Side Project with great beer and food

One thing I am confused about as far as you saying the pickup line was "painfully slow" is that the pickup window allows you to grab yours all day. Not sure why everyone rushes to get their bottle that is already paid for and guaranteed first. Grab some beer, chill, wait for the masses to clear and then go grab your pre-purchased bottle later.

Same. I’ll be there until Monday. Was definitely planning on going to Perennial on Friday as well.

The line was already long last year because of BACSV. And I am a bit hazy on this part, but I'm pretty sure you could not pick up both bottles at the same time, so you had to go through the line twice if you did get a ticket. Normally SP lines move fairly fast, but on this day, it did not.

I guess I could have gotten out of one of the lines at some point and then stood in a totally different line for the beer you are talking about and then chilled.

There were two different lines at the Cellar last year. Line 1 was for BBT pickup in front of the merch wall. Line 2 was at the bar for BACSV. The Cellar also didn't sell any beer for consumption until BACSV was sold out, which took like 20 minutes I recall.

There were definitely seperate lines for the BBT pickups from the BA CSV. My point being that there is no reason to ever stand in the BBT pickup line unless you have to get in and get out. People have from open until close to grab it no matter which location or day. There are plenty of times throughout the day where there is noone waiting to pickup BBT. The table for BBT pickups at the brewery will once again be at the base of the steps of the brewdeck. So will be easy to keep an eye on to see when the line dies down or is gone altogether. The table at The Cellar will be right by the merch. And well The Cellar is small so that will be easy to see also. So I'm simply offering a protip for everyone, keep an eye on the BBT line and get in when it's short.

The story behind the labels - Troy wanted to draw his label, but model it after what a Side Project label looks like (single fruit) and so I drew our labels to mimic his old labels with the background barrel and type font. Yes, I went and bought colored pencils and had a hell of a time trying to draw those labels, because I suck at art. But it was something that Troy and I had a fun laugh over!

Tomorrow is the day! Pumped for year 2! What will the silent bottle be? Scribe B2? Tete V2016? Anabasis B3? BA Coffee Shop vibes? Time will tell!

I was hoping to make it at open but the rain made my family want to do outdoor stuff in the morning and a museum in the afternoon. Sigh.
Edit: my attendance is required at the museum.
