To each his own, but I hope the bottle counts are super low then haha. Geez, what people do for beers these days.

2 per person. Hands were marked after you paid so no going through line twice. Also, Maman Blue was being poured on draught which was quite nice, would've had another but need to run errands and hit the gym today

We will see how these releases go once Side Project moves into their new facility. Perennial has been a mixed bag but overall its been positive. Hopefully that continues once the move is complete.

Am I the only idiot that didn't know Cory was leaving perennial? I'm happy, but sad, but happy, but also a little sad...

For those who've had the Derivations, how would you characterize Derivation #3 and #4? I'm not a homebrewer, so I don't know how malts and barrels affect beer. I just know I love vanilla lol

He's not been brewing for Perennial for a bit I believe. I think his title was something like "Director of Oak Aging" most recently.

He mentioned at a release quite sometime ago that he was only consulting.

Since its been discussed somewhat already I figured I'd post this interview where he discusses leaving perennial, upcoming beers, as well as some other interesting stuff like starting another brewery that will deal with non barrel aged stuff that will be brewed at the new Side Project location in Maplewood. Exciting stuff! Look forward to the future of Side Project.

I'm mostly looking forward to the day where production is increased and every release isn't insta-whale status

So Tête de Cuvée is coming out some time next month. I see fancy wax. Public release or the more elusive Wine and Cheese shop variety? That is the question.

Probably not Wine and Cheese Place since those are typically posted on their blog in advance (and TWCP has said the next one is going to be Merci blend 2). I'm hoping it'll be a public release on a Saturday, releases are always a great excuse to take a weekend trip
