you would have to assume 90% of members live fairly close to SP. my point being that they basically got 2 bottles. unless they were at target with the family or some shit like that.

 

That’s the same situation with any membership anywhere.

 

suppose that’s accurate. although we all know this membership isn’t like most “memberships anywhere.”

 

I can guarantee a portion knew. Definitely people that were down there for hours with chairs.

Side Project posted themselves at the Budweiser brewery on their Instagram story. Are they selling out?

I didnt even tell Eric (who helps with every release) that we were even having the release. I didnt know till half way through the week if we were going to be releasing it due to some scheduling conflicts. When I showed up, at 10:00ish there were about 7 people sitting by the back door - to my surprise! Someone told me they heard a rumor, but I have no idea where from.

Our policy from day 1 has always been, if you are in line at the start of the release, you are guaranteed an allotment. We made it well beyond the people that were there at noon. We predetermine the amounts to be sold to-go and to be sold on-site (just like every brewery - how much to distribute and how much to hold). Furthermore, the end of the line has to be established somewhere, while taking care of those 30 people, what about the next 10 people that show up in that timeframe, and then the 5 people that show up, then the next 5, the line was replenishing faster than we could run transactions, so we had to cut if off somewhere, just sorry that it was in front of you.

CW Maple release or DBD? One is 3 hours and the other 5.

 

Its actually a pretty neat place to visit, whether you like their beer or not. Lot of St Louis history there. This is probably the only brewery tour I've ever been on that actually kept my interest.

Oh, and the "brewery lights" they do for Christmas is pretty cool
