Waited in line yesterday next to a group of kids seemingly very close to 21 years old who were pretty roughty -blasting music, drinking bud lites, and heckling people who walk by. What's the deal? Is this really the younger beer nerd crowd or just some college students catching onto a way to make a quick buck? Never seen anything like this at a beer release.

Yeah unfortunately the longer notice, weekend releases are a catch 22 for SP. Gives more folks from further out more time to get in town for it, but also gives the fringe crowd just jumping on to the next big thing more time to assemble. Personally the week day releases with like 48 hours notice are the sweet spot. Enthusiasts outside of Stl take half days at work to get there and line share and the less commited crowd doesn't really bother.

I think short notice weekend releases would be cool. It would have the upside of the weekday ones, but allowing most people who can't get off of work to attend. They could be announced the night before or even the morning of.

You can usually just ask the people sitting around you if they are down for a split. Never had a problem when in there by my self and looking to try 3-4 things. They girls are also really good about splitting bottles to respective tabs as well which is nice.

I'm not usually a fan of Blueberry beers but SP seems to nail them. Consistent theme. The Bleuet du Ferm was awesome!! Hope it gets released to-go in the future but if not I will be back for another bottle on-site.

There was no announcement and it was a limited number of bottles. It was also delicious.
